"Come On, Let's Dance"

57th Annual Calhoun County Wood Festival

Heartwood in the Hills

will bring their annual Calhoun County Wood Festival performance to Main Street following the Parade.

The energy level is REALLY high here at Heartwood in the Hills as our theatre students prepare for the Wood Festival with a hilariously, funny, play for the community.
“Ears, Eyes, Legs and Arms” will be presented at Heartwood as part of the Calhoun County Wood Festival

The public performance will be on Thursday, June 6 , at 6 p.m. At Heartwood in the Hills off Broomstick Road near Five Forks. There is  no admission but donations will be appreciated for this non-profit school for the arts.

The Salutation, was choreographed many years ago by Artistic Director Jude Binder, as a special dance for her ballet students. Over the years, generations of students have learned and danced the dance- with the majority of them dancing at least once at the Wood Festival Parade.
This dance will be a REUNION dance and it is anticipated that our dancers will include those ages 14 to well into their 70"s.
Come and enjoy the Festival and be sure to be in front of the Calhoun Courthouse for this grande finale to the Parade.
